The owner of the company Mr. Jim Morrow, has been in the special event decorating business since 1983. The Decor Department is a full service special event decorating company specializing in coordinating custom designed and produced decorations to visually enhance your special event. Our decor plans and event management services have been meeting the needs of our clients, their choices of venue, and their budgets for over 16 years. The Decor Department, Inc., purchased in January 2004, Captain Balloon (in business since 1983). Captain Balloon is a balloon decorating contractor and now as part of The Decor Department, the Captain offers a creative design capability which serves to enhance your event with balloon decorations, planning, implimentation, and coordination inherent with it's parent company. www.captainballoon.com The Decor Department, Inc., is your one stop resource for all your event decorating needs. We will design, handle and/or coordinate: Creative table decorations, Fresh Floral arrangements and theme designs, plant rental, dramatic and ambient lighting, custom color drapery to mask or creatively change the apperance of the event space, table linen and napkin rental to compliment color and theme, general rental needs (tables, chairs, china, glassware, etc....), custom design and production of props and decorations for all occasions. We produce events. We specailize in the production of decorations for small receptions as well as large gala events. We have decorated ballrooms and large halls in convention centers and we have transformed small meeting rooms and conference room spaces in corporate offices into elegant reception and dining areas to meet the needs of our clients when they entertain their guests and business associates. We provide event management services and resourcing for our clients. We coordinate and impliment installation and dismantle activity in a timely and efficient manor. We are located in Indianapolis, Indiana. And we travel when requested or required. We have traveled to a variety of locations when our clients insist on someone they trust to get the job done right and on time.
